In May 2020, we reported on the following project.
Delighted to have funded a freshwater pump in a remote area of rural India, in memory of Alex (1992-2019). This has been made possible through Ummah Welfare Trust. The cost is only £170 and maintenance/repair costs are very low and its installation means a world of difference to the local community.
Alex’s family found comfort in the knowledge that his legacy was helping others have access to fresh clean drinking water locally and fundraised for a further two wells.
